Buyer, you, referred to as BUYER

Please note, our gerbils have had NO recorded external or internal defects so far, but we provide full transparency should we note any health defects and immediately retire the breeding animals involved. We NEVER anticipate selling a sick animal, so please read the following with the full understanding that we do not anticipate anything but a long and happy life and friendship between you and your gerbil. That being said we do need to cover all our bases just in case!

BREEDER guarantees all gerbils are healthy at time of departure. All health conditions are recorded on each gerbil's HEALTH CERTIFICATE provided by the BREEDER at time of purchase / pickup. Please note this will be provided digitally, paper certifications are available for a $5 charge. All gerbils leaving PRG have been inspected by the BREEDER who deems them to be clear of all internal and external parasites. External defects such as kinked tails will be noted before sale to BUYER, these may or may not reduce the price of the gerbil.

Veterinary examinations are available at the FULL cost of the BUYER. Should any medications be required, they will be paid for in full by the BREEDER, while any examination or treatment costs are the full responsibility of the BUYER. Gerbil price will be reduced should the gerbil require medical treatment OR a replacement gerbil will be offered of equal value. 

Gerbils will be free of any health issues upon departure from PRG, but sometimes shock and improper housing can lead to unfortunate loss. PLEASE be sure you have the correct set up for your gerbils at least 48 hours before arrival. Should the unfortunate happen and your gerbil pass away, BUYER must contact BREEDER within 24 hours of the death and inform BREEDER exactly what happened and provide pictures. If the death was caused by any health defects such as heart issues or seizures BREEDER will provide an immediate (or as soon as possible) replacement gerbil of equal value. No cash refunds will be given, these are live creatures and sometimes things happen. Should a death be caused by an animal attack, improper housing, starvation, etc, BREEDER will not provide any replacement and no cash refund will be given. BREEDER may refuse right of sale to any BUYER, no matter how many previous gerbils have been purchased.

In order to collect your replacement gerbil BUYER must provide at least 3 images of the deceased animal as well as a 30 second video showing the animal from all angles. BREEDER will provide a replacement if deemed appropriate as soon as possible.

Contract is void if but not limited to: Improper housing, improper care, lack of food and water, animal attack, housing malfunction, power loss, floods or fires.

We STRONGLY recommend feeding Higgins Sunburst Naturals food. Feeding of extruded (pellet) food only will result in the contract being voided. BUYER MUST feed their gerbils a high quality diet. We also sell our own special mixed blends.

In the unfortunate event of a declanning and mauling causing the death of one or more gerbils BREEDER will offer a replacement pair of gerbils at 50% discount OR credit for a future gerbil for free. BREEDER will not provide a third replacement gerbil to place with the original pair, as this will definitely result in another mauling, so BREEDER will therefore replace the pair or provide a gerbil credit.
